I’m Lisa. For many years my life was full and loud — raising two boys on my own while teaching elementary school. My days were measured in bells, lesson plans, and the steady work of showing up.
Later came the loss of my oldest son, a grief that reordered everything I thought I knew about faith and endurance. In time, life widened beyond sorrow — remarriage, retirement, and a move toward a quieter rhythm. One that allowed me to listen more closely and live more intentionally.
Pine and Prayer Collective is a place for those learning to live with what has changed them.
Here, we make room for imperfection, for survival, for the sacred shape of what remains. We believe perfection was never the point — presence is.
If you are walking through grief…
If your faith has been reshaped…
If you are carrying both beauty and brokenness at once…
You are not alone here.

I write from the mountains, where prayer feels less rushed and grace has room to breathe. The Pine and Prayer Collective was born from a love of quiet places and honest faith. My hope is that this space feels like holy ground, where God’s presence can be sensed in the still places.
